Is the Series 2000 Racing #2 grease ok to use on all vehicle applications such as ball joints, tie rods, wheel bearings, etc on normal daily driver vehicles?
Quick Amsoil Series 2000 question

It would be great for wheel bearings, but I would rather use their moly grease for the ball joints, tie rods, etc.
I was wondering about the moly content. Would the lack of moly lead to premature wear/failure of a tie rod/ball joint?
Also, how does the 2000 hold up for needle bearings?

No, I highly doubt that. But Series 2000 is a racing grease for speed bearings. Not slow moving impact type grease.
For those joints I recommend:
Amsoil HD OR grease

It excels in needle bearings. It's a great in high and low temp high speed bearing applications.

Thanks. What I was getting at is that I use the 2000 grease for my handgun, but it is also in my grease gun. I have been using to to grease things. After realizing there may be a better choice for chassis parts I posted this. I have also been using it on the gimbal bearing for my boat, which is a needle style bearing and wanted to make sure that was a good choice.
If I was going to chose one grease to use from Amosil as a universal vehicle grease, do you think the GHD would be the best choice?

Probably, but I wouldn't choose just one.
