question on tire balancing

As I was washing my car today, I noticed there are only weights on 3 of my 4 tires.
Front Driver side -- none
Front Passenger side -- 5
Rear Driver side -- 3
Rear Passenger side -- 4

Is this normal? I thought there should be weights on all 4 tires right?

Car is a 06 Nissan Murano.
Any advise?

Wheels don't require wheel weights on both side of the rim. Some tires/rims balance with just weights on the inside or outside.

I have seen an occasional Michelin that balanced without any added weight.

Do you have a shake or shimmy? If not, no worries. Not all wheel/tire combos will need weights to balance.

And, sometimes the weights get thrown off. This is the reason many states are outlawing lead wheel weights. After they are thrown off, they get run over and ground into lead dust on the road and poison the soil, water, and air.

We used to do tire balancing, and maybe 1 in 100 didn't need any weights. Some go on the inside, some outside, some glued on, some clamped on.
