Question on new Fuel Power.

I got a few gallons of FP not to long ago and I noticed it says to "shake Well" on the bottle. It has some sediment on the bottom, it dissapears when shaken. My older bottles did not do this. Why is that? Thanks!

I can't answer your question....but I bought my first FP mid 2003 and it said "shake well" also. I just thought it always said that.

Strange thing though, I never see any sediment in mine......

....if there was sediment in a fuel additive, it does seem a bit odd, but maybe never a problem fully diluted in fuel.

I bought some a few months ago, and there is something that settles out in the FP. A few shakes and it is dispersed though. I just have to remember to shake the bottle as I am adding it to the tank.

Both my Fuel Power and Lube Control got this sediment. If it sits for a long time, it will form a hard cake. In a previously post, I read that it was from the dye used in the product. If this is indeed the case, I wish they would just lose the dye. This stuff does, however, appear to dissolve in gasoline.

The sediment looks like white stuff at the bottom of the bottle. My 1st couple of bottles never had this.

Seems that I recall reading here before that the stuff is dye that has settled out of the fluid. Shaking "reintegrates" it. According to the gurus here, it is harmless.

The sediment is from the dyes and is harmless. Search the forum and you'll see other post on this with repsonses from Terry and/or Molakule.
