Fuel Power Question

I was heading home from the family's annual "rush to finish xmas shopping" trip, and we stopped off at a Texaco station. I usually browse the oil section while waiting on my wife and son to take care of whatever buisness they need to take care of. I spotted small bottles (say 16 oz) of "Fuel Power Diesel Treatment." Is this the same as regular FP?

I looked on the FPPF website and could not find a FP Diesel Treatment. It looks like this: FP but with green and blue lettering on the label and with the specific words "Diesel Treatment".

Anyone know what this stuff is? Is it just regular FP?

Different Product altogether.

No connection to the Fuel power and Lube Control developed by Odis, and that you may see recommended here.

Not the same stuff. "LC20" is lubecontrol and "FP60" is what we know has become known as fuel power.

Jeff and Odis are trying to get the word out of the the lubecontrol fuel treatment formulas real name, "FP60".

I think that lubecontrol used the Fuel Power name since the 50's but Odis did not own the formulas until the late 80's and thus someone procured it in that time.

Thanks Terry! That information helps. I guess I was hopeing to have found a close location that I could pick up a bottle or two easily as I come by that way.

No problem. The inventor marketed this product for years and lord knows how many tradmarks and patents got lost when he died.

There was even a motor oil named after him sold here in Dallas and generally west of the Mississippi. It had what we know as LC already premixed !

Anyone remember the name ? I am not at liberty to divulge it but it was a good one and that smell !!!!!
