To anyone using the CVTz50 app to monitor their CVT transmission, which ELM327 adapter are you using? The ELM327 I've used for several years with Torque with zero issues is constantly having connection issues with CVTz50, and CVTz50 is saying I may have a counterfeit dongle.

Don't have the Nissan anymore but this always played well with CVTz50:

for Android Phones ONLY - Wireless Bluetooth Diagnostic OBD2 Scanner Car Code Reader and Scan Tool for All 1996 & Newer Vehicles ELM327 Compatible OBDII https://a.co/d/fUUc0YI

Not available anymore on Amazon though.

I had the same issues with a very cheap ELM327 dongle and CVTz50. I bought a marginally less cheap Veepeak brand dongle and it works better. Not perfect, but better.

I have used torque pro on our Sentra.

The ELM327 adapters are odd. If I connect to it directly from that phone, it doesn't work. Instead I have to use the aPp to connect.
Opposite situation for me lol. It only works if I connect with my phone.

Just ordered the Veepeak. Hopefully that fixes the issue, thanks!
