Looking for software tools for my phone/computer

So, let me set this up:

My recent research into my Nissan CVT led me to CVTz50, and I've also learned about the existence of Torque Pro. I'm also aware of the existence of alfaOBD (which I believe is a Fiat/Chrysler thing). I'm thinking about all of them. So my questions are sort of specific to these, but also a little wider:

1. In addition to CVTz50, Torque Pro, and alfaOBD, what other software for computer or phone do you use that you consider useful? Or not useful?

2. What is your OBD dongle? How well does it work?

Thanks.

I use the Hyper-Tough HT500 for what I need it to do It works just fine. I have owned the tool for a few years now there's been various software updates one of recent that will now monitor transmission temperature at least for Nissan this was very helpful when doing a CVT maintenance since the fluid temp has to be within a range. Hoping in the near future there will be EPB service mode in the software for now on 2-wire EPB service its a powerprobe.

Carista just for Toyota seat belt chimes!!

Jscan and AlfaOBD have some overlap depending upon application. Good for TPMS adjustment or delete on Ram

Obviously Forscan for Fords.

I have an uber cheap Peak dongle. Not saying it's good, but it works (shrug)
