Question About Oil Recycling

I know that some oils are made from recycled material. Back in the Stone Age I used a recycled oil called Raylube for my late Pop's older car. It worked pretty good in a 1952-ish engine even though it was rated SA.

Someone told me that Super Tech uses recycled oil. I do not know if that report is true or not. Where does a lot of other recycled fluid go? I know that a lot of places drain their waste antifreeze and oil into a common sump. Who buys it and how does it get processed? I am just wondering. It is a resource and someone must find uses for it.

Saftey Kleen Picks it up mostly. They have their own re-refinery in tx, and in the states they sell it to garages as Eco-Power brand, to the U.S. Government,& Military as America's Choice(I think ?), and as Super Tech in Canadian Walmarts. (US Supertech is someone else..Warren maybe?)

Up here, much of it is used in used oil fired heaters for gas stations and shops.

Warren Performance Products/Warren Distribution,a maker of Super Tech partnered with a refinery in Ohio that refines used oil.

The refinery is Heartland Petroleum.

SAFETY KLEEN anti-freeze/coolant is recycled and made into new stuff as my work uses this. Their used oil in the northeast is sent to CANADA where they have 1 or maybe more refineries, I was told by the SAFETY KLEEN folks.
