Question about Motorcraft belts Sizes

Hi, two part question. Getting new serpentine belts for the '94 SHO MTX. First, I would like an opinion on brand, since Ford/Motorcrafts are long discontinued. The engine was actually built by Yamaha in Japan, and since I'm spiffing her up for the annual car SHOw, looks are just as important as quality. I'm thinking maybe Bando or Mitsuboshi.
Second, a little help interpreting part numbers. The OE, to the best of my knowledge, as per a SHO parts specialist is the following:
WP&PS: JK4-506/E9DZ-8620-E
Alt&AC: JK6-456A/F29Z-8620-D
Now, I've seem much conflicting information on how to interpret and cross reference the size from the Motorcraft numbers, and many catalogs are known to list the wrong size belts for this car, especially the Alt. belt, since '95-95 were a smidgen longer.

Side question: would a lack of belts cause her to hard start and run like junk then die after only a few seconds?

Never had a problem with Bando, Gates, Dayco or Continental. They each cover a wide range of vehicles.

Thanks, is that a genuine Ford article? Kinda looks like it. So, say my PS belt, is 50 3/4th inch. Now, that is the outside, but most belts seem to be measure by "effective length" at the cord line. ELI5, plz.
