I have a 2012 Kia forte that 6spd Manual that currently has 25,342 miles on it. I have taken out the clutch delay valve which fixed the weird clutch engagement. But, the shifting of this transmission gets pretty finicky especially as it gets hot outside. I live near Phoenix, AZ so I wonder if moving up to a regular 75w90 would help? I have read that Redline MT90 works very well along with Motul Gear300 75w90.
Redline is GL4 and is pretty respected on the internet, but Motul is an ester based syn that us dual rated and has a VI of 222. So I think the high VI of the motul would work great in my car. But, can anyone shed any light on dual rated MTFs?
