I recently ordered a kit from amazon because I needed a new carb. Mine was leaking all over and figured since they're so cheap I'll swap the whole thing. The kit came with a fuel filter and when I was trying to remove the fuel line to cut off some excess tubing I accidentally pulled off one half of the filter. There was no media or anything inside of it. Not sure how this "filter" is supposed to work. This pressure washer has never used a fuel filter before. Is it supposed to just collect large sediment via gravity or is the filter in this knockoff kit missing components such as a paper or screen element?
This is the kit I got:
Panari Carburetor Carb + Tune Up Kit Air Filter Pre Cleaner Fuel Filter Spark plug for Briggs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073S794FQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_toUpBbT3M4HV7
