Does anyone know if the QS UP is being discontinued? Ive been to 6 different Walmarts and they are sold out of ALL of it (every weight). I asked the Walmart employee if she knew anything after she looked it up, and she said it was discontinued. Idk if thats "discontinued " from that particular store, or Walmart in general. I emailed Quaker State, but no response yet. Does anyone have any news?

Its available at my store in PA and online. Maybe your stores are not carrying it but order online.
Quaker State Ultimate Protection stock was very low at my walmart 2 weeks ago. It did the same thing last year around this same time of year. Seemed like after about 2 months stock started rolling in again. I'm thinking walmart just makes one big order once a year to get the price down. Walmart does this with with some of their products
It's on the shelf at the WM I was at earlier today.
IIRC Walmart motor oil stock is always low in February-March when they're doing an annual inventory audit or something.

Why don't you order it online and just pick it up at Walmart or just have it delivered from eBay or Amazon with free shipping?
There low selling oils that some stores don't carry most of the time, but you can always find them online.
Because it keeps saying "out of stock" on Walmarts website. Ive mentioned that a few times now. And i was always under the assumptiom that you cant buy the UP on Amazon.

I see 5 quart jugs available on eBay at good prices if you buy two, three or even four at a time.
I have had no issues buying various brands on eBay...all was delivered through WalMart.com or RockAuto.com

We don't know if your local store will or won't carry it again. Nor do we know if Walmart decided not to carry it in the future. You need to ask management, not the floor help.
Im looking for the Ultimate Protection 5w30. Ive never really trusted Ebay...too many horror stories. I didnt know it was sold thru Rock Auto, or are you saying that if I buy it off Ebay its shipped by Rock Auto or Walmart?

The last 3-4 years I order exclusively on eBay (including oil) and never had any issues. Also I did a few returns and got refunded right away. Ebay is much secure place to shop now compared to like 5-10 years ago, unless you shop for a car or a motorcycle from another state and pay in advance. But i think even those transactions are much more secure nowadays.
