Has calcium made a comeback? It's been a while since I studied VOAs (which was infrequent to begin with) but I remember during the SN+ / SP transition, most new oils were around 1000ppm or less CA, with equal or greater amounts of magnesium.

I'm very interested in these newer VOAs as I have a T-GDI car now. Thank you OP for posting the VOA.

Any reason to switch from Quaker State Full Synthetic to Quaker State Ultimate Protection for 5k intervals?

How does this sample compare to valvoline’s new extended protection?
I know this sample is 0w-20 but the additives appear to be the same for the 5w30

wow this oil might be better than PUP and Mobil 1 Extended Performance
I will try to find the latest examples between some of the top oils including pup and Mobil 1 Extended Performance and make a easy to read table. But I doubt it is significantly better.

I'll add this to the VOA Database. You could download a copy and edit it how you wish on your own system. :)

edit: Is this really called Quaker State Ultimate Protection? I'm not finding that on their website. I've seen Ultimate Durability...

nevermind, I found it on Walmart: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Quaker-S...l-Synthetic-5w30-Motor-Oil-5-Quart/1671100541
