Obvious; the cheaper choice.
Either....your vehicle won't know the difference.
BTW....QSUD has a good $20 rebate going on until 3/31. Its being sold at my WM, for $20.57 for a 5 quart jug. Can't beat $0.11 cents a quart. Cheapest oil change you'll ever have.

Depends on the car. If it needs the dexos1 specification the QS has, the QS. Otherwise, the Shell!
I would go with the Shell synthetic even if it was a few dollars more. I think the gas companies put out very high quality oil. They make their money on gasoline, so they don't have to worry about making a profit on engine oil. If you look at conventional Shell, Chevron, Halvoline, Union 76, Exxon, Mobil, and Conoco Phillips they all make excellent oil at a low price.

prices on quaker state shot up and honestly that oil is just ok there are better oils cheaper in my opinion

Hey! Come on now!-You can get 5 qts. of QSUD basically free now with the rebate. Why wouldn't you? Give it a try and if you don't like the stuff, then go get the other. Who doesn't want free oil? I used to run nothing but Valvoline and Havoline and I'm trying QS products and things are going well.

i beleive both are quality oils, but formula shell syn is usually hard to find.
I got formula shell at BJs with a coupon not long ago $17.99 for a 6 qt case.
i don't know that...
