Just bought a new 2025 STX F150 (traded in my 2024 Nissan Frontier Pro4x) and went to Walmart to return my 2 jugs of 0W-20 from other truck to pick up some 5W-30 for my 2.7 EB. I decided I am going to continue to Run QS FS. Its also on Sale. Noticed when I grabbed the Jug they have the new GF-7 Spec available at my local Wally world. Just thought it was interesting. Looks like it has the New ford Spec. I believe my owners manuals says use spec Ford wss m2c961 a1 and this has the Wss-MC2971-A1. Im sure its backwards compatible. I decided to look at Mobil 1, Pennzoil and Valvoline and they didnt have any Gf-7 bottles yet. They might just have not ordered any new cases yet - because at my local Wally world ST and QS go the fastest. My 2.7L EB calls for 6 quarts with filter change. Kinda bummed the single quarts didnt have the new updated spec yet. Oh well.

Who bothers buying single quarts for oil changes anyway, just use the other jug. Single quarts are for keeping in your vehicle for when you need to top off.

Wouldn’t buying 2 jugs be the smart buy, if QS is your oil of choice? If I remember right you pay $2-$3 more for that one qt bottle vs the 5 qt jug, qt price.
