I followed your advice and therefore didn’t buy enough when I could. Also went all in on Stellantis and Oracle on your advice.

It's not... But no matter what "tier" of oil between Pennzoil & Quaker State, they always test different.... which was part of the earlier discussion of this thread.

I've been a "Quaker hater" for a couple decades now... but I'd LOVE to find some Quaker State Ultimate in 5w-30. However, it appears to not be available anywhere. I was a Pennzoil Ultra Platinum fan myself, but I'm wanting something thicker now for my truck. Outside of boutique oils, this Quaker State Ultimate was looking to be the best option for me... But it's ultimately unobtainium.

For the couple dollars more -- Quaker State Ultimate Protection which is Quaker States top the line product is well worth it. The Quaker State Ultimate Protection is totally a sleeper oil. Anybody that has not tried it atleast once -- should!!!

I understand that it does extremely well in the Noack Volatility test, too.

That’s correct and occurred quite a while ago, we are discussing (at least I am) Ultimate Protection which is not the same thing. It’s a Quaker State 20k oil.

Shame on Shell for using Ultimate twice, there’s been a lot of confusion between Quaker State oils even on this board, which is definitely more savvy than the majority of casual oil buyers.

I don’t think that’s exactly the case. I think Quaker State Ultimate Protection was what replaced Ultimate Durability

They didn't make very clear whether it was that, or a better line. Then it vanished from Walmart. I used one jug of each.

I just snagged another 2 OCI's worth. It's probably SQ non Dexos but still a great price for a 20k rated oil. I think most of my stash is SP Dexos but I will have to look.
