Was at Walmart to day in the oil isle as usual and noticed that Durability went up to $19 dollars from $18.50 for the 5 QT jug.

I was hoping for a clearance like others had reported to buy for the rebate...

What gives?

I returned a jug of 5w-20 today since the oil wasn't named on the receipt. I got refunded at the new, higher price. IDK how that works...

No... that cant be! Thats like half the reason I love Quaker State Conventional for that low low price!

WM pricing seems to be all over the place, no real rhyme or reason to it that us lay peons can decipher. I was just beginning to think my 1 time 5W30 score on PP was a fluke, when I hit a different Walmart tonight and it was rolled back again (managed to grab the last 5W30 jug on display, but there was tons of 10W30 there).

After the first PP rollback, they rolled back Pennzoil conventional to 11.88 (buck more than GTX). Today this WM had it dropped down to 10.88 to match GTX.

Also had on the first rolled back price ($10 off) on Mobil 1 syn, that I've ever seen here. It was still $10 more than PP and a little more than Syntec.

If its up this week it'll be rolled back next week or in 2 weeks. And vice versa. Only thing predictable there. No cause for mass panic

I tried to snag a few bottles of QS Green, but it was sold out of 5w30. I'm 100% going to BJ's now as Formula Shell is by far the cheapest out there. I will buy the case of oil and commit!

SOPUS rebate fulfillment would have accepted it. Called them previously on the topic and they are aware of Wally's sku #'s, I've recieved one(rebate) with a similar receipt. Still time to get in on it, I wouldn't pass.

Prices went up after the previous Wally DIY tv ad campaign, then, in time came back down again.
