Yep. Although we do see the rules are being bent with ESP X4 now carrying both C40 and A40. Of course that is a C40 oil having A40, quite different than the reverse which would be impossible due to the limits.Exactly.
I couldn't find any, except Pennzoil Platinum Euro 5W-40 on Ebay, Amazon and Walmart. Can't find it on WM's website. Anyone seen it in store recently?
It comes and goes like a stray cat. Here today gone tomorrow. It'll be back. Just keep checking. Can't find it on WM's website. Anyone seen it in store recently?
It will be back in a few weeks. This is common with a couple other Euro oils on WM. I have seen Pennzoil Euro L and Mobil 1 ESP come and go on occasion. Just be patient and it always comes back. This is why I always keep at least one or two oil changes worth on the shelf, including filters so I don't panic when I am due. Can't find it on WM's website. Anyone seen it in store recently?
Holy cow.Fyi-
PP Euro 5w40 on sale this month at NAPA for $7.50 a quart.
As foretold by the prophecy...
Is it better than Pennzoil Platinum Euro or is basically the same oil?
And sure enough, both Pennzoil Euro L and Mobil 1 ESP 0w-30 are out of stock...It will be back in a few weeks. This is common with a couple other Euro oils on WM. 2 jugs.Mine has it on the shelf. But you can always order online and get free shipping by spending the minimum which isn't much.
Yes, it told me that Euro 5-40 was not correct for my Mercedes which is 229.5. So don't put your vehicle in on the website.Walmart.com seems to filter out all the incompatible viscosity oils in search

Just want to point out that the oil above was $45 for 6 qts (last Wed). Then like next day went to $40. Then the posting was saying the oil got sold. And since yesterday it's on a new price $60 for the sam quantity.
However, this one got $3 cheaper.
I don't understand why Pennzoil won't just make 5qt jugs of the stuff. For whatever reason, only the 5w40 is limited to 1qts only. Rather annoying.I couldn't find any, except Pennzoil Platinum Euro 5W-40 on Ebay, Amazon and Walmart.

It looks like most companies sell their Euro oils mostly in bottles vs jugs. Valvoline does the same thing. Probably only Mobil and Castrol have some EUro oils in 5 qt jugs.I don't understand why Pennzoil won't just make 5qt jugs of the stuff. For whatever reason, only the 5w40 is limited to 1qts only. Rather annoying.
