QSUD Problems?

I've had nothing but great UOAs in my Frontier. Really good. It get's short tripped to oblivion. Idles regularly.

I use QSUD in it a Fram Ultra filter and I installed an EZ Valve. I only put about 7.5k a year on it. I do a drain and fill at about 6 mos while only changing the filter every other change.

Our Sorento gets a change at 3700-4k for severe service and warranty reasons.

Forte...same as the Frontier.

QSUD is high quality, high performance full synthetic oil. Can easily go 8k miles between oil changes. Mobil 1 and Warren/Supertech/Kirkland turned black much sooner. Mobil 1 was dark after 1k miles. I believe QS and Pennzoil share the same formulation and are made by Shell.

Did the Mobil 1 taste worse too? Because that's an equally valid metric here if you are going to C&P this post in multiple threads.

I've ran QSUD in my Toyota for 7154 miles did a UOA and it had a TBN of 2.9. Would have gone 7500 miles standing on it head. There is not a problem with this oil!

My 2017 Hyundai Sonata 2.4L non - turbo DI gas engine calls for 5W20 oil on the oil cap ... In my opinion , all the 5W20 oils in this engine stink ! In my Hyundai Sonata's case it does much better on 5W30 QSUD or other synthetics (as far as oil consumption and probably shearing as well) . Thus I have switched to 5W30 synthetic oils over the recommended 5W20 weight oil . I do not believe there is anything wrong with QSUD oil .
