QS Synthetic - 'Heat Activated'?

VIIs are definitely "heat activated" - but, in some form or another, they're common to all multi-viscosity blends. It's like saying "Come to a certain beach, where the water is wet."

I feel like QS is the Rodney Dangerfield of motor oil. I see it as a decent motor oil and they have a nice line out now. I know of a nice stash of 5w20 syn blend that has been tempting me for a couple of months now.. If it is still on the shelf when I go back this month I may just break down and get it. I am starting to find the entire, ultimate motor oil quest as mundane.

Heat activates the oil to make it thinner and better flowing when the engine is up to operating temperature.

I think that the imagination of the advertising copy writers got "overheated" with this one.
