Putting the Explorer up for sale- ?

Agreed, I recently sold a very nice 2000 Sport with 118K mi for $2400... It had the OHV 4.0 so didn't have potential problems and being south of the Mason-Dixon fault line, had zero rust... It was ready for trans service, tune up etc, but that's the next owners responsibility now... Being as it sold in one day, $2400 was probably a bit low, but I was more than happy with the sale(I paid $1000 for it)...

If you sold it in a day, your price was too low. Kind of hard to call it not holding its value in that case...the truck didn't price itself!

Yeah but the ones at $2700-$3000 just set there and never seem to sell, I wanted it gone...

Well good news - The first people to come see it put down a deposit today.

$4500 no negotiating - they drove it, went under it and really thought it was a good value for the money.

Not sure -it was so unexpected and fast, I am in a rental for the week.

But considering I got my asking price I can't complain. I was only hoping to get $4000.

You definitely had the right person come at the right time. Not to say that it was priced to high, but most craigslist shoppers would would offer something lower than $4,500.
