push pin in near sidewall

A pushpin went into my sidewall , actually where tread meets sidewall see link below for type of pin. tire is a pirell cinturato P7 245/40R18 97H m+s with 8/32 tread left 16k miles on it. Question is would you replace 1 tire or both on same axle. Car is a 2018 Audi A4 quattro.

That spot is generally not recommended for a repair. As HangFire stated, a new tire is your best bet....unless you drive like Grandpa and a blowout won't matter.
 
Exactly how big is this "push pin"? 10mm long x.5mm thick. If Chances are it won't leak . If it does use some sorta stop leak/ Sheeesh.

Need to see a pic ,of where on the tire this is. I have plugged a lot of tires, but i won't plug near the sidewall.
