Used a PureONE for my last oil change on my 1999 Toyota Corolla. Very happy with the results. There seems to have been some sludge that was cleaned out on this oil change.

No media tears, pretty consistent pleat spacing, and it doesn't look like the anti drainback valve got maimed. Looks like a bit of extra potting adhesive on the end cap, but I can overlook that. The short interval didn't stress the filter out at all.

A solid alternative to Tough Guards, especially if the TG's continue to revert to nitrile ADBV's

It could also be a "D"
"D" would make it 2012. Purolator wasn't owned by M+H back then, and the PureOne wasn't called just "ONE" like it is now. Looks like they decided to use "O" for a year code. It looks more like the other zeros in the code than an "O".

Nice photos. What oil and filter went back in and on?

Thank You
5w-30 Mobil1 Full Synthetic High Mileage(not EP) and another Purolator ONE.

However, I think I'm going to try out a Toyota OEM filter after this oil change since they're a fair bit cheaper. I had to send a Purolator filter back because they don't package them well and usually come with dents and dings.

My oil change intervals are really short anyways because I either run out of spare oil (burns oil) or I stick to the 3000 mile recommended change interval (even with full syn).

Could you by chance take a pic of center tube?

Thank You sir

I still think these Purolator One blue filters are utilizing Wix Gold filter media. This one looks outstanding just like the Wix Golds used to look like.
