Purolator One PL14610 louvers

Yeah, it's been discussed many times, but seems you don't believe the official efficiency info. I'm just telling it like it is, right from Purolator and Mann-Hummel. Obviously you don't believe or accept their specs. You think they are going to claim it's 99% @ 46u when it's really not that? If you want to "believe" it's better than all the official efficiency sources, then might as well start claiming it's 99.9% at 5u base on a visual light test of the pores in the media. 😄
Wrong assumptions, like I said LET IT GO. You aren’t listening anyway. Fine you use Microgard Select, at least I am trying to use Purolator USA, and buy them, which you do not do but here you are arguing to change my mind. Just use your Select and leave me to my wrong thinking.

I'm not trying to change your mind, use what you want, it's a free country. Again, I'm just stating the facts, right from Purolator and Mann-Hummel just last week. I'll let the facts go when you let go of the constant grasping at straws thinking that Purolator and M-H don't even know the specs on the oil filters that they design and make. Show me some official proof that shows Purolator/M-H don't know the specs on their own products. BTW, the new Purolator 20K isn't any more efficient than the Boss per what Purolator told me. And stop making buying oil filters political.

Those are from 2022, all the ones I just got,the Boss, look good and have late 2024 or 2025 dates. I avoided the One due to influecing me about the black glue on here. But not influenced by the Boss is 46 microns don’t use it theory, not at all. If I see a lot of light spots in the media maybe go along with it, but still feel many are wanting the 46 versus knowing which rating is actually correct, for the one I buy today. I find not one thing wrong with the Boss especially for $8 on Amazon, and made in USA where I live. Heavy, premium oil filter.
The engine won't know the difference and neither will you.

Depends on how choked down they are. At some point louvers that are too choked down are going to put the filter in bypass way too much, and put the oil pump way farther into pressure relief - just like an over loaded oil filter would. Speaking of that, a filter with choked down louvers is also more sensitive to debris loading because the dP is already elevated to start with due to the choked louvers.

Thanks, I am going to use some Boss oil filters on my vehicles now, soon as the sun is up higher. Jobs are political, ok thanks for the lessons on that too.
