Purolator LX10575 Virgin C&P

I'm surprised nobody in the Q&A session didn't ask the engineers there what the ISO 4548-12 efficiency was, or what the flow vs dP curve was. They didn't invite any BITOG filter manics for a reason. 😄

I am clearly no expert...but I physically yawned while looking at the photos. I think that says enough.

Thanks for tracking one down and cutting it open for us to see.

This was a Purolator Boss filters without the Premium Synthetic material that was inside the Boss,Napa Platinum,Wix Xp and is virtually identical to the Napa Gold The non xp Wix the Pennzoil and Bosch filters and of course Purolator has had this filter a long time just not gold. I wouldn't run any filter longer than 5000 miles personally and my filter of choice is the Boss the Fram synthetic endurance or the upper variants mentioned before. Id like to see people quit wanting a 4 dollar filter. Im driving a 100 grand truck im not looking for the cheapest filter. The not so new on the scene out of Vietnam under microguard Premium guard Stp Summit racing on so on is a nice clean well made 3000 mile filter but doesn't come close to the Purolator/Wix/Napa/Royal Purple and Amsoil which is a Fram synthetic endurance. I think most people look at price and miles before they buy. I want the best possible filter I can buy and still will change between 3 to 5 thousand miles except my commercial mowers which get the Fram Ultra Synthetic until I can source the Boss for them.

Doesn't come close in what way?

Are you saying the "Purolator/Wix/Napa/Royal Purple and Amsoil which is a Fram synthetic endurance" are all the same filter media and same inside?

Haven’t been following the filter scene in a few years?

i’m not going to feed into your comment. it is very obvious you are not educated in the filter market. i post more C&P’s than just about anyone else on here. i know what works and what doesn’t.

Everyone is hating on M&H products. They’re not that bad. I’ve had worse experiences with premium guard products leaking. Never an issue with Fram or Wix or Purolator
