After doing a search I’ve read that Purflux filters seem to be pretty good.
They are now used on some of the older Mercedes engines. They are sold for the M103 engine for sure.
I’ve previously used Mann, Mahle, Bosch, or Knecht filters.
From the Purflux website they say: “ PURFLUX’s Research and Development teams have, over a 40 year period, gained complete mastery of media processing technologies with both chevron and straight pleating. They have taken this to a higher level still, with their recently developed curve pleat”
My question is are the Purflux filters better than what I was using? They certainly are much smaller that the ones I’ve been using, like at least 25% smaller.
