Purflux LS489A cut open

PURFLUX / Sogefi is a french company. They are OEM Supplier and known for their unique zig-zag filter paper. They where the OEM supplier for Honda car filters for Europe for about 20 years.

This is the LS 489 A. Ist is mostly meant for French cars, but also for a lot of Hondas. It is the "big" Honda Filter. It has the typical french style 12 notches for thightening and opening, but the Asian / Honda Gasket style.

Made in France. Thin, soft, pliable ADBV. Metall bypass valve. Inner tube of the Filter is crimped.

Bonus Points: Painted dark blue with golden Lettering. I really like it.

They were OE for Opel, Citroen, Saab and many others also, I use the L264A in the ecotecs. They fit better than all the others I have tried, no deformation of the element at all.
