Im looking for specific information on the P1 14610 for honda applications. I contacted Purolator but got no answer. I am running a Honda AO1 and the engine is pretty quiet on start up. But I dont like how UN efficient the honda oil filter is. Anyone have specific GPM flow rates for the P1 14610, everyone on here told me the fram ultra was a "great flowing filter" but when i put it on the car knocked after the oil change even though it was pre filled, the honda filter made no noise at all after an oil change. I wanted to use the Ultra but start up noise was still there and the oil light stayed on longer than the honda filter. So looking at the PureONE for next oil change, anyone with flow rates for the 14610? thanks in advance guys!

It will flow WAY more than your engine will put out. The noise is not due to "lack of flow".
The start-up noise is due to the ADBV not sealing 100%. I wouldn't judge it by a start-up after an oil & filter change because oil galleries can drain during an oil & filter change. Does it have start-up noise all the time?
I've used the PL14610 and the Ultra XG7317 on my V6 Altima, and can't tell the difference in start-up noise between them. The PL14610 isn't as efficient as other PureOnes ... but more efficient than the Honda filters.

You have been told in multiple threads by multiple posters your start up noise is almost certainly due to the function of the ADBV on your vehicle, not filter flow.
I understand this problem as my current Jeep is also very finicky about ADBV's. So find a filter that doesn't give you start up noise and forget about flow. If they are spec'd for your vehicle the flow will be more than sufficient.
Oil filters have BYPASS VALVES. If the flow gets too restrictive the bypass valve opens allowing free flow of oil to the engine. Again, your start up noise is almost certainly NOT due to flow.
I get the best starts so far in my lengthy testing with Motorcraft "S" series (probably not available for your Honda) and Fram Tough Guards. Find a higher efficiency filter than your Honda (just about anything aftermarket will be much higher than 65%) with an ADBV that gives you good starts and forget about it.
I don't know the exact flow ratings but the PureOne is a high flow filter. You would probably have to jump to a full synthetic filter to get better flow than the Pure One. If it gives you good starts use the PureOne and forget about it.

If you want to prime your filter before the first start after a filter change, simply pull the fuel pump fuse under the dash and crank the engine over until the oil light goes out. Pre fill the filter with oil as well if you can.
I don't have a noise issue on my honda, but I do on my vehicles with timing chains instead of belts. If I pressurize the system the chain tensioner takes up slack on the chain and I don't get that rattle sound.
