No ... read this thread on how to decode manufacturing dates. This is a sticky at the top of the Oil Filter forum, which nobody seems to read, lol.

Just clean it up (like any filter should be if there's anything noticeable to clean up) and slap it on. 😄
 
Took these of 2 other TITANIUM and a FORCE . It's the luck of the draw . Will try to remember to check all oil filter threads when purchased .

⬆️ ... Every oil filter (regardless of brand) I've bought over the last 30 years can stand some cleaning of the base plate and threads. It's just the way it is. Seems like you're obsessed with this stuff ... 😄
