If this is a Group IV oil which I suspect it is,it will outperform EP as well as any other high performance Group III oil in every category hands down. Unfortunately,the VOA will not tell us anything about base stock and so far,neither is Mobil.

I agree with others,Mobil is going after the Amsoil SS line which is Group IV/Group V and a true 100% synthetic oil.

They might be going after the Amsoil SS line. I'm not sure, though, that Walmart is the ideal venue to be doing so. There are a few reasons some people buy Amsoil. Some want to avoid Walmart in the first place. Others want to support a smaller company, or someone that is specifically not one of the majors. I'm not sure how many Amsoil customers were just waiting with bated breath for XOM to produce a $50+ jug oil.

Up here, $50 a jug oil is a good reason to consider Amsoil in the first place.

Does not really say much since most oil is probably check out through the front registers and not the Auto Department.
