Pugging in RPM sensor Lift Master

I am really proud of myself. I replaced the end bearing plates, center bearing, torsion spring, all rollers and reworked my Lift Master door opener. Everything is going well until I try to plug the RPM sensor back in. I can't get it to snug up. What am I doing wrong? This is my last step. Maybe I should have paid attention before I unplugged it. Ya think???

Eye-ball the end of the connector, guide the pins into the square holes, don't
try to jam it on where you see the exposed metal tabs thru the plastic.

I promise I am. It's like something is in one of the holes. Maybe a little wd40?

Got it. There was a little black box behind the prongs jammed up against it. You can't readily see from the front view.. If you look closely, you can see it comes up about 1/2 way behind the prongs. It was just a really, really tight fit.
