I was @ my local Wal-Mart yesterday,and of course I made a Bee line to the oil section. No more PU on the shelves,or Motorcraft Synthetic blend.

Well thank god you were not a pioneer in old america. That's in jest friend.
Don't give up, I felt that way at the first Wal-mart I searched. I checked everywhere even the AutoZones and Advance Auto, but eventually I found the motherlode at one particular Wal-mart. $25 5 QT jugs, a WHOLE bunch! Yahooooooooo! yippiee!
Probably the only Wal-mart out of the half dozen in my area that had this stash. Really I was expecting to find a rare QT or 2 of Penzzoil Platinum Ultra since I guess retailers don't stack them since it not selling well is my hypothesis. But there always people like me looking around!

lol Which one so I don't make the same mistake.
Auto stores in my area are very lack luster in oil selection these days.

Well,I live in Bethlehem Twsp. and I`m talking about the Wal-Mart on RT.248.
In the one by me, Motorcraft was up to $14.00, but PU was discounted to $21.00.

They still had a large number of 5q bottles on the shelf at the Walmart on 309 in Quakertown $25. Not too far if you want to stock up.

Most of the Walmarts in my area seem to be out of Motorcraft - at least in the 5 quart jug.
I only found PU in one Walmart around here - out of about 4 stores.

Well, as of Tuesday (10/5/2010), the PU was available at the Wal-Mart by my office (Montfort @ Arapaho, Dallas, TX). I walked by the automotive section and saw that they had 5 qt jugs in 10w30 and 5w-20 @ $26, and quarts of 5w30 in the main oil section. There may be more on an end-cap somewhere else, but I didn't really hunt for it.

The PU is available at my local Walmart in NJ ($25), I just bought a 5qt jug, I need to change the oil in the RX before going to Chicago and Michigan in a few weeks.
The old PU at my WM in Cincy is GONE!!!
