Protec PXL57082 5k

This filter was used for 5k miles on a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox 2.4. Oil used was Mobil 1 5w30 high mileage. Looks really good for a filter that I purchased from Rock Auto for about 3 dollars. Says made in China. I have a few more that I will definitely use. This was replaced with another Protec and Mobil 1 0w40.

Yeah, looks excellent. And these ecotec cartridges known to be rather ugly looking post use, ie. smooched/squished appearance. Iirc, other previously posted Protec Ecotec cartridges have looked good too. I think you found a keeper.
