Drivers will go around it/them, regardless where you place them.

Reminds me of a recent YT video I saw where someone had put orange cones in front of a building to try to reserve a parking space. Some pulls up near them, removes the cones, and parks in a clearly public, non-reservable space.


Man exits the building aggressively, yelling to the driver about someone taking "his" parking space. Conflict ensues.
