Propane tank telemetry system

Time for a fill. The level worked down to 25% and the propane truck arrived and filled my tank to 80%. This was done without any contact with the propane company. The total was 275 gallons. The bill will be texted to me in a few days. Looks like their system is working.

@alarmguy Can you get natural gas?
Sadly no natural gas
Propane is actually an option here on the coast by some builders which we have. My wife likes gas (propane) cooking and I guess gas hot water is a plus too, plus we have a gas fireplace. Gas= Propane
Thing is here on the coast electricity is dirt cheap so I am not sure if it would be cheaper to have all electric @ 10 cents kWr. vs the propane that we have

I really don’t find propane to be cost prohibitive. I will even ignore the small energy density advantage when I write this.

The drawback - in particular is on site storage. It’s easy enough but my gauge float is stuck for example and no choice but new tank at their cost. Real problem is access. Gonna be real fun.

I decided to post my fill today. I’m hoping this one will last until December, as I am on the electric heat pump now and my-in floor heating requirement in the garage will be less. The other use of the propane will be water heating.
