Project Farm >>>> Tests Floor Jacks

bought the Pittsburg aluminum 2 ton. works perfect for half tons and cars. light and easy to move, hopefully it last a while.

My fleet consists of nothing tested.

The oh-so-sweet AC Hydraulics dk20hlq (goes stupid high and lifts way more than it's rated 4400#), Sunex 6602LP (24" max height) and Arcan 3.5T for when I need an old-school brute.

The AC Hydraulics wasn't cheap but it really is soooooo nice. According to my high-tech bathroom scale the AC comes in at ~115 lbs

Jack prices really went up. Pre-Covid, That HF Pittsburgh was around $85 w/coupon and the Daytona, $200.

Wait. What am I even looking at.

Here is the Pittsburgh for $160: https://www.harborfreight.com/3-ton-low-profile-floor-jack-with-rapid-pump-56617.html

Here it is again, but for $110 claiming parking lot sale (but can be ordered online) but also states was $145: https://www.harborfreight.com/3-ton-floor-jack-with-rapid-pump-56624.html
I remember buying that Pittsburgh for $80 about 6 years ago. It replaced a tired Torin Big Red. All I did was grease it with a moly grease and topped off the oil.

I'm still using my first floor jack. A '74 Sears 1.5 ton. It's seen a ton of work over the years and unless I'm jacking the truck up it's the first one I pull out to use. Usage is way less now as I'm a long time out of keeping beaters on the road now but it's still lifts and stays up just fine to this day.
