Intel graphics chip in general works OK in windows 2D mode, and that's about it. They are the Kia Rio in the graphics chip world.
If you are doing anything like playing back H.264 (HDTV) or playing games, it will choke easily (like towing a 2 ton cargo on a 1.3L 3 cylinder engine at 5000 rpm going uphill).
There are many great solutions out there today like the AMD 780/790, integrated with hardware video decoder to reduce CPU workload, and the dedicated video cards we all love (power) and hate (cost and power consumption).
For video playback the AMD 780/790 chipset with a low end Athlon processor is hard to beat in cost and power consumption.
