I'm not getting notifications? I went to preferences, my notifications are enabled.. I am getting emails.. any clues why I'm not getting notifications??

No worries, I’m going to move this question to the “user information” section, since it belongs there. I’m not smart enough on forum operations to answer it, though and for that, I apologize in advance.
So, just looking at my own profile. You can see that I have notifications enabled. I don’t get notifications on my iPad, which is how I do the preponderance of my BITOG “work”.
I do get the emails, but I do not get the notifications.
I suspect the reason for that resides in my device settings, because I have had to turn off most of the notifications that I get, from the almost 100 apps that are on the iPad.
I suspect that I turned them off for Safari, which the browser I use, so it might help if you first go into your device settings and make sure that you are allowing notifications from your browser.

If you want E-Mail Notifications you have to enable the options under "content options" including "and receive e-mail notifications"
