Here’s my 4670 filter box. OP is right.can we get some photos of the filter?
The filter in the new box is identical to the older PG filters and made in China so the only difference is WH is the middleman now. Here's some of my previous comments regarding the subject. Seems to not state that HW actually makes the filters themselves. Just that's HW's "Branded Filter" to sell under their own name.

"Prime Guard® is exclusively manufactured for and offered by Highline Warren"
I know that H. Warren makes the Pronto branded oil at least.

PRIME GUARDAre you confusing Premium Guard and Prime Guard? Premium Guard is the company that supplies filters under several names including Carquest ,NAPA, O'Reillys and others and are usually made in China or Vietnam. Several have been cut open and are liked by several here.
That's what I concluded when I dug into it.The filter in the new box is identical to the older PG filters and made in China so the only difference is WH is the middleman now.
OP is talking about Prime Guard. However, the Prime Guard filters are Premium Guard made, sold by Highline Warren. Are you confusing Premium Guard and Prime Guard? Premium Guard is the company that supplies filters under several names including Carquest ,NAPA, O'Reillys and others and are usually made in China or Vietnam. Several have been cut open and are liked by several here.
Prime Guard IS Premium Guard, but usually the (slightly IMO) lesser quality Chinese PG, AFAIK NOT the better quality Vietnam made PG. Still a perfectly good 5K mile or less filter. Are you confusing Premium Guard and Prime Guard? Premium Guard is the company that supplies filters under several names including Carquest ,NAPA, O'Reillys and others and are usually made in China or Vietnam. Several have been cut open and are liked by several here.
Thing about all these "house branded" Premium Guard filters, each brand holder is contracting Premium Guard to make their filters which could mean there is some slight differences in them depending on how Carquest, NAPA, STP, Highline Warren, etc have specified Premium Guard to make them.Prime Guard IS Premium Guard, but usually the (slightly IMO) lesser quality Chinese PG, AFAIK NOT the better quality Vietnam made PG.
I know it is Prime Guard. The all CAPITALS is not called for. I try to be polite and I expect the same from others.PRIME GUARD
That is basically what I was saying. They may be made by Premium Guard but HW doesn't own Premium Guard. I was stating that Prime Guard and Premium Guard are not the same in the sense that the filters may be made by the same company yet they are not owned by the same company. Premium Guard makes Prime Guard but the Prime Guard name us owned by Highlinewarren.I believe Highline Warren contracts PG to make these filters for them.
If this was to me I know that Premium Guard makes the filter I was only stating that that Premium Guard and Prime Guard (Higjlinewarren) are not the same company. The filter names are so similar that some may get them confused.^^^ Premium Guard is part of the whole equation ... see post 11, simple explanation on what's going on with the branding.
"Prime Guard is Highline Warren’s house brand which is made by Premium Guard."
That was to anyone who seems confused on this subject. If this was to me I know that Premium Guard makes the filter I was only stating that that Premium Guard and Prime Guard (Higjlinewarren) are not the same company. The filter names are so similar that some may get them confused.
