I've been using Amsoil SS in my Tahoe for years, and I'm thinking might switch to ESP 0W30 in the future... Considering the price, especially when I'm doing 5~6k oil changes, it doesn't make that much sense now.

I think the value of AMSOIL SS is best realized with extended OCIs, but I'd encourage you to calculate the difference between an oil change with AMSOIL and M1 ESP and compare to the total cost of ownership. At least for me, the difference is like 1% of gas, repairs, insurance, tag, etc. I spend more on a tank of gas than I do on annual oil changes. But M1 ESP is a good oil too.
