Oil change in parking lot

Condo dweller. I do it here in our parking lot anyway. No management around on the weekend. Sunday morning is especially quiet. I'm neat and clean. Put cardboard down to catch any dribbles. Always return old oil for recycling. No problem.
My son lived in a condo and it wasn’t allowed. Big church next door had a huge oak tree 50’ from his parking spot - any day but Sunday was the Preacher’s rule ! Used mover’s blanket

Yup and maybe put a spare tire out to look like you got a flat
And a hot chick busking 25 feet away to serve as a distraction.

But seriously, know your city. There's an industrial part of town where they park semi trailers on public streets and they're empty of people on weekends. Just go down Sunday at 8 am and noone will bother you.

If you occasionally patronize your local greasy garage when you have jobs you don't want to tackle they will usually work with you on simple stuff like oil changes. Bring your own oil and filter and pay them a few bucks. Might even let you do the work yourself out back. Bring them some coffee and donuts. I used to have a garage like that nearby. Looking for another one.
