This guy lost his job due to this. Great that there are consequences for these people! Notice the caption under his picture, he has been arrested before ! He needs to stop drinking.
1.The guy is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
2. He should not lose his job based on an accusation.
3. If he is alcohol impaired then perhaps he needs treatment for the disease prior to being prosecuted.
4. Now any prosecution should be relocated to an area where the story has not been overblown by the media or all charges should be dropped as he cannot be prosecuted fairly.
5. If he is found NOT guilty the family should be sued to pay him 5 years of his income and benefits plus $10MM in damages.
You see this is America...and the Bill Of Rights still exists for a person accused of striking a child.

The burden of proof in a criminal case is higher than that of a civil case. Just look at the OJ story.
Saw the interview on CNN and it is clear the child and mum went through a terrifying experience. Imagine descending for landing, in the middle seat with a small child on your lap and this guy next to you. You're trapped.
If I had been in the aisle seat I would have swapped with the mother and dared this guy to even breathe near me.

I've seen racism go both ways plenty of times, but only one is publically accepted as racism.
