pressure washer oil question

Just pick up a used pressure washer troy-bilt 3000 psi 2.7 something.. its not a honda engine. I need change the oil, the manual call for 30w. Can I just used some 10w30 oil ? I have some havoline HM 10w30 and some maxlife 5w30..

Mine is 13HP Honda on the DeWalt unit. 5-30 (left over M1 or Super Tec) for the engine and ND 30 for the pump. I would thing your in same boat as me.
 
Can the OP clarify if its for the engine or pump. I like Amsoil 4-Stroke for all my OPE engines.

For the pump, need to look at the manual. AR vertical pumps say no oil changes unless you are repairing it. And then its a special AR pump oil. Others are different.

wait !! what you mean for pump ? pump have seprerate oil too ?

Yes, most pressure washer pumps will have a small fill bolt (sometimes plastic) to empty and fill the pump oil. I use Briggs and Stratton synthetic pump oil found at any place that sells lawn mower parts. It has worked well so far.

Many pressure washers require you to change the pump oil after the first 5 hours or so of operation.

Yep, good stuff^^^^ It`s kept my one season wonder pumps going for several years.
