Nice PG c&p. If straight pleating one of your main criteria in an oil filter, Prem. Guard seems to fit the bill. Overall looks to be a well-made filter. I'm looking at the CQ blue variant for less $$, somewhere down the road. Likely be awhile though.

Now, it’s gonna be Donaldson since they are wire backed.
When I got the focus and other one it was CHAMP PH 2835 then old style wire backed ULTRA. Oils have been mainly HPL NO VII 5w20 in daily driver and soon HPL 5w20 HDEO

I would trust this PG way, way more than a “ Fram Welfare edition ultra” with wavy pleats that look rough after just 7k miles.
Now the latest Fram Ultra filter cut and open on here did look a fair amount better… That one was a noticeable improvement over some of the first ones cut and open on here.

Great looking filter! Thanks Stude. Filters from Vietnam and China is what I look for. They’re always well made with good media spacing.
