My wife has been sick for the last month or so and went to the emergency room about 2 weeks ago where they did a CT scan that showed showed spots on her liver and lungs that the Dr. thinks is cancer. She went to the oncologist last week that she had when she had breast cancer in 2011 and they've got her scheduled for a PET scan on August 18th. I'd like for everyone to pray that we get a good report when they do the PET scan. I was aware that she'd been losing weight over the past few months and thought she was trying to lose weight because she was always saying she needed to lose some. I didn't realize she'd lost so much until she went to the emergency room and she told me but she'd lost about 40 lbs. My wife has always been really active and for the past couple weeks all she feels like doing is laying around.

I did what you ask.
Many people have spots that show up on their liver and kidneys and such, that is not cancer.
Is she on or had any kind of medications? Dr Berg on youtube has some good info, as well as Dr KenDBerryMD.
Check them out you won't be disappointed.

Godspeed to your wife and your family.

" Heavenly Father, We lift up all those who are facing illness. Give them the hope and courage that they need today and every day. Comfort their pain, calm their fears, and surround them with Your peace. In Jesus name and for his sake, we pray, Amen".

Everyone keep praying for my wife's situation and recovery. We took her to the emergency room Sunday afternoon because a nurse practitioner we attend church with was very concerned about her appearance. This same nurse practitioner probably saved my life on Dec. 25, 2021. I went cold turkey coming off of morphine that I'd been on for chronic back pain for about 20 years and got dehydrated. She had my wife check my blood pressure which ended up being 63/38 if I recall correctly. I went to the emergency room and they said my kidneys were in stage 5 kidney failure and if I'd have waited a couple more hours I'd probably have been dead. My wife has an UTI, was beginning to get dehydrated and her oxygen level kept dropping so they ended up admitting her to the hospital. She's been on oxygen practically all the time since Sunday afternoon around 5PM. When they remove the oxygen the level drops immediately and they're not sure why. I spent the day with her at the hospital today and they took the oxygen off once for about 10-15 minutes and her oxygen level dropped from mid 90's down to 74 so they put the oxygen back on her. A lung specialist is supposed to come see her tomorrow. They're also still giving her IV fluids. I plan to sleep at home tonight so my back pain doesn't get so bad I can't stay with her any. I stayed at the hospital with her last night and until about 9PM tonight. I plan to go back early tomorrow morning. Our son is staying with her tonight.

I have had spots show up that were NOT cancer on my liver and I was in hospital for a week last oct with Pnumonia my oxy level would drop to 80 in 5 mins when they took it off.....i was scared ....i use to be a heavy smoker......but no lung cancer ......it was just the pnumonia
I get the back pain.... im on methadone 30mg for it myself.....
Stay stong its hard in times like this id ask myself "why me
? what did i do to deserve all this" there is so no good answers.......except life is never fair and very cruel.
Hope for the best but plan for the worst....
Like somebody said if you have your health you have everything and how true it is.....i would give up all money house cars everything just to feel good again.
I read a book that said as we age life stops giving and starts taking away.....its been 40 plus years and cant remember the book but it does it ever.... My two cats and myself send you good karma thoughts for your wife and you.....giving up on religion many years ago.

Will be thinking of you guys. This was definitely not the update we were hoping for.

That's the most wonderful thing you can do. I can promise you, having y'all there with her means the entire world to her. 🙏

Special prayers for her.

Will say a prayer right now. Sorry to hear of the concern but will pray it turns out to be benign. Love and prayers heading your way.

Tough, tough, tough circumstance man...

Oxygen dropping so fast when off oxygen is a hard circumstance.

That alone has me very, very concerned.
Plus having a UTI which... If she is septic from that on top of everything else happening.... Is very rough. No doubt about it.

If your wife has a medical directive... You may need that in the days ahead. If yes, then you may want to review that with her. To see if she wants any changes made.

Are you medical power of attorney?

Is she still a full code ?

No wrong answers to any of the above.

They are possibly very pertinent going forward.

And you.... Must take care of yourself...

Now.

Quality of time is better vs a lot of time which ends up putting you in a worse and worse physical circumstance.

If you need anything... You send me a pm. I will give you my direct cell phone number.

I won't claim to know everything... But I do know a fair amount. And I could be of some help with you.

Sincerely, Bradley

Youu are so right ....I knew my wife was/could die but I refused to face it....thinking she will pull through.....she had just got out of hospital from a brain aneursym the weeks before .....looking back im glad she got to spend 12 days with me and the cats ....she did not have a will made and almost 5 years later im still fighting her brat kids. Out of the almost 25 years we were together her **** kids which the oldest is 49 now caused me the most problems....
