what type, they say hydraulic, of power steering oil do I use in my 1997 Buick Skylark v6

I should've clarified, original spec is regular clear p/s fluid. OP can use an atf interchangeably I'm sure, most places throw some dex 3 equivalent in anyway when servicing.

Amazon or online dealer will have it. Just google the part #. However I prefer Lucas fluid with conditioners (Walmart) for both my cars.

I would consider M1 ATF. It performs great.
