Potential dumb question: change oil before medium term storage?

Hi,

'23 2nd gen Subaru XV sat idle until Aug '24 between exiting Gunma plant and me buying it in Europe. Just completed break-in but life changes will make it stay parked until next spring (with preparation checklist disconnecting battery, dehumidifier, tank fuel additive, over inflating tires, mice repellent etc)

Should I change oil with a cheap one before storage then replace again oil+filter with best available in spring - or - is it ok to delay replacing both with quality ones in spring?

Manual says change every 6 months and it's already almost 2 years of plant filled oil.

Thank you.
EDIT: to clarify the purpose of question, I'm just a lazy a** trying to balance delay spending on oil (and most important time allocated for it, since I'm running quite short on time) vs doing what is best for the engine (and trying to find out if these additional 4 months are significantly bad for the engine with a 2 years old oil inside)

How long to store it? Two year old oil should be fine but how many miles on it? I'd just change it out w/cheap oil.

I'd change it now using the good oil you plan to use. Then in the spring, you're ready to drive it.

Oil systems are sealed, so leaving the old oil in there won't degrade it any further just sitting. Then when it comes out of storage, put your new oil in and call it good. No need to change it twice, even if the storage oil will be cheap oil.

4 months starting about anytime now, to be more precise. The break-in I've just completed is stated as 1k miles in manual (~1600 km)

You'll be fine on the old oil. Drive the car through its tank of stored gas come spring then change the oil. Any misfires or other misadventures will be absorbed by oil you're throwing out soon anyway.

If the oil in it is "bad", why is it still in it now? You won't have "acids" or "corrosion" on this oil.
