2009 Venza AWD U660F transmission 113k miles and original fluid. Did a filter change and flush with the same Valvoline Hybrid
@johnmyster used for the same clearance price. Pan fluid looked reddish when I drained it so wasn’t too concerned and then when I pulled the return line off and let it eat, the black fluid was surprising but it was getting all the bad stuff out. Magnets in pan did not have a lot of material clinging to them, I cleaned them after the pic. Used 11 quarts total. Shifts like a dream now. No relearn needed like I’ve seen on the internet interwebs.
Replaced the rear differential and “T-case” with Valvoline. Rear was black but very little crud stuck to the magnet and used some Brakleen to flush the black stuff and then ran some diff fluid through it before installing the drain plug and filling. “T-case” fluid looked really good and probably could have let it go but since I was there it was getting changed.
Only 90 today for high but very humid and the smoke from Canada is atrocious today. Skies are clear but the sun isn’t getting through and it smells like wet campfire

. Needed a beer after sweating more than a little. I had a half gallon of water while working and it really wasn’t enough in 5 hours time.
Total cost of trans was $40 rounding for change and diffs were under $28.
ETA used a Carquest filter and the oring was a tad bigger in thickness than original Toyota.
