Drain and fill interval: 2 years, 10,125 miles

As the original owner, I'm now good for another two years if I keep the Ridgeline that long.

Did a drain and fill on the Cayenne's 8 speed Aisin @81k mi.

Out: slightly less than 1gal Havoline/Redline D6
In: 1gal Redline D6

Cooler line flush of factory fill 23k mi ago with Havoline multi full synthetic 10qts and Redline D6 4qts. Fluid was dark red this time, has been shifting great.

Will do leveling procedure starting with a cold transmission this morning.

Lifetime returning the D6 to FCP, so why not 🤷‍♂️ It's convenient that it dumps 3.5-3.75 qts, and I can level the fluid after slightly overfilling with a gallon of new.

Never mind. Eyes aren't working well today.

1997 4Runner 2wd. 2 quarts of brownish red fluid came out, 2 qts. bright pink Castrol Transmax hm went in. Transmission shifted well before, shifts well now, but fluid is much prettier. Oh yeah, this was using the transmission drain plug. I’ll need to do it a few more times, and replace the filter at some point.

Trans=A340E.

2011 RX 350. Owned it for last 4000 miles it has 177K total on the odometer.

This is my 3rd dump/refill of the fluid, about 1000 miles between changes. The car shifts well but the fluid is black even after 2 drain and fills. Pretty sure it was untouched before this

In: 2 quarts Maxlife plus half a bottle of Lubegard Red (small judder around 1800 RPM going around 30mph, hoping the additive can help).

2023 Chevrolet Blazer w/ 2.0L LSY and 9T60. Purchased the vehicle with ~25,000 miles. Currently, it is at ~35,000 miles.

Out: 5.8 quarts of Factory Fill

In: 5.8 quarts of Valvoline Dexron VI

The fluid coming out was black, no tinge of red present. However, it did not smell burnt. I plan to do a fluid drain and fill every 30k miles. This transmission does not have a serviceable filter, which sucks. I often tow a 1990 Mastercraft Prostar 190, so the transmission gets worked pretty hard.

What are your initial thoughts of this ATF? It's been out for a few years, but I haven't seen many posts regarding it in use.

Nice work, we had a '15 RX and I recall how little fluid comes out per drain. I did quite a few on it and added LG as well, finally did turn nice bright red. Keep it up, it will get there.

Thx. I’ve got a couple quarts left I’ll do one more see how it looks. Frankly surprised at how well the car shifts considering the condition of the fluid. These Toyota power trains are pretty resilient I guess happy to have one

Mid interval service 08 Jeep Liberty. I pulled the transmission drain plug, dropped 3.5 quarts of fluid, replaced with 3.5 quarts Castrol ATF+4, which included 4 ounces of LG Red. I drained the transfer case while I had it up on ramps, ATF+4 goes in there too.

The THM 3 speed automatic transmission in the 1980 Firebird FORMULA in my signature(owned since new) has been giving me some issues not going into 3rd gear when warmed up. I have maintained this transmission since new and she only has 50K miles on it. When she's cool, she shifts like nothing's wrong. But when it warms up(30-45 minutes of driving), she won't go into 3rd gear after a stop unless I help it.

I dropped the pan as I usually do and changed the screen & gasket. There was a lot of clutch material in the pan so a rebuild is in order. Keeping in mine that this 3 speed has indeed shifted up/down a ton over the 50K miles as it is driven for lots of cruise nights with a lot of stop & go driving around town with some long distance travel(1 hour) during the summer months to car shows around the area.

Drain and fill on the xBs U241E, last of the Mobil 3324 I had on hand
Future services will be with the Idemitsu TLS-LV I'm overstocked with

This is the 3rd drain and fill it's had in the ~17k I've put on it
It's approaching 300k, if it makes it, I'll treat it to a pan drop and fresh filter
From the evidence (I don't have), the fluid I drained at 281k was factory 💀

Shift on
... please 🫣

Got around to changing out the factory CVT fluid on 2 Subarus. Both were 1-1/2 quart low from the factory as nothing came out of the fill hole when the cars were cold.

Drain and Fill:
2017 Subaru Forester 57,584 miles
Out - Factory Fluid
In - Amsoil CVT Fluid 6 quarts

2017 Subaru Legacy 33,150 miles
Out - Factory Fluid
In - Amsoil CVT Fluid 5.5 quarts

Running that in the Wifes Subaru Outback. Have about 4K on it now. She says it shifts smoother now then when she first bought it with the Amsoil in. Bought new!!!
