Using Redline Nonslip CVT Fluid in my Accord and its high Cst is the best its been. Boutique fluids just do a better job. Nice write up!The shifting between gears during driving is much more smoother and the subtle shift jerking is pretty much gone. As for driving in general, I did notice a slight improvement in acceleration. Its really hard to gauge MPG improvements but overall the car feels better. The original ATF had over 124K miles and was very dark purple red in color. The magnets kinda speak for themselves for how much crud was in it, so I added some strong N42SH bars to increase magnetic filtering capacity of the pan which should be good for another 100+k miles.
I went with HPL because the dealership wanted over 80 dollars for 4 quarts of Toyota ATF-WS at the parts counter. I'm still on the first spill and fill since the pan drop its been a few hundred miles so far and should be doing another drain and fill to get rid of the remaining old fluid that's diluted with the HPL ATF Green.

I've done three drain and fills, each 3k miles apart, first at 112k and last at 118k, and each time the fluid is always dark when contained. But using a tissue I was able to see that my most recent drain and fill was much lighter and with a slight pink hue compared to the brown of the fluid in my first drain. I'll have to do it again and post the picture.2018 Cruze, 6 speed auto

Going to run it a little bit and do another drain and fill, as it looked like motor oil draining out. Very black.

Drain and fill done at dealer.
It was 260 total . Last time it was done around 25-26 k I think the invoice said they did 2 drain and fills . This time the invoice read transmission flush plus DW-1 quantity 4 . I did not read it until later and figure it was a different type of service with the flush . Not a huge issue for me .If you don't mind, what does the dealer charge? Asking for a friend...
I think a quantity of 4 quarts could be a spill and fill. A flush should be 6 quarts, at the minimum, could be 10.It was 260 total . At first glance this seems excessive. That being said my former 2001 V70XC burned up two transmissions over the course of 278k miles. I never paid any attention to the transmission. Lesson learned.2007 Volvo V70 @ 144,230 mi.

I wanted to get the fluid clean 1+2. I believe my V70 was locally driven in hot Washington, D.C. in its prior life.
D&F's 3-7 was to keep it clean. Perhaps I was chasing perfection.
I went 36K before doing D&F #8 (today's) but was still pleasantly surprised at the reasonable cleanliness of the fluid.
I don't know If I'll own this car long enough to do #9 but I have the fluid in stock.
I'd probably shoot for 175K.

Are you going in through the fill hole or the check hole?2016 Honda Accord with 2.4 liter I4 and CVT.
Out: ? 2-1/2 quarts via topside extraction. Light red color and translucent.
In: 2-1/2 quarts Idemitsu Type H2.
It's supposed to take 3.9 quarts but only 2-1/2 came out topside. Maybe I'll do it again in warmer weather to freshen it up.
