post your latest transmission lubricant change.

Not a change but initial fill. Just swapped a rpm lvl 6 4l60e in the silverado awhile back. Filled with valvoline blue jug dex/merc. Still prefer the maxlife but would rather save the high miles fluid for later on.

Upgraded to 4x4 deeper pan, filter and will have a drain bolt now. I will be running it this week and dropping the pan again as the new rubber gasket is still leaking. After 1.5hrs of frustration, a lot of trial and error, I finally left it with a small weep. Going in next will be Schaeffer All Trans Supreme as my stash of M1 is out and found a local Schaeffer dealer. Will be doing 2-3 drain and fills total as I do with all my new vehicles.

Removed close to 3 quarts of DW-1 A.T.F. with 36,000 mile interval from the FIT and replaced with the same . The dipstick is at FULL ( Hot ) level after 50+ mile drive . Removed with HyperTough Multi-Use pump and placed the hose into a 1 gallon pitcher touching the bottom . It has 1 + 1/2 quart marks for reading and used the twist top with some duct tape to keep hose inside the container . Fluid was pumped out cold through the dipstick / fill hole . Plan to remove about 2 more quarts and replace with a little less A.T.F..

Did my daughter's 2 wheel drive 2015 Expedition EL 6R80 trans. Her boyfriend was mentioning surging sensation? I think I did about 5 pan pulls with vacuum pump. Got close to 20 qts Amsoil low vis trans fluid through the system. That was a pain in the rump, need to let trans T stat warm up. I believe it was OE fluid. Had about 125,000 miles.

I have a ladder on the shop wall I hung a funnel high with a pvc hose to fill under the body just above the pan to fill it. Lot of patience.
I think his trans filter was getting clogged up in the pan.
Shifts nice now.
I will be doing the same on the used F150 6R80 I have.

Can’t remember if I did any xTF changes recently, I know the last two were Toyota hybrids:
2019 Lexus RX450h, ~120K at the time, now 143K, Vavoline Hybrid ATF, Toyota WS was the prior full.
2009 Prius, I think there was 200K when I did a spill and fill, now 220K, also Valvoline Hybrid ATF. MaxLife was previously used.

Vavoline claims this new Hybrid ATF protects against copper corrosion. It checks off all the usual universal ATF boxes.

2019 Toyota Corrolla LE 75,340 miles. I did a drain and fill on the CVT.
Out: likely original Toyota CVT FE
In: Aisin CVT FE

Fluid I got out looked used but good. Glad Rockauto sells the Aisin fluid. Aisin built the transmission and they don't sell their fluid as if powdered diamonds is in it like Toyota does.
